Ullal: Pedestrian dies in bike collision near tokkottu

Ullal, Aug 22, 2025: A tragic accident occurred near Tokkottu, Ullal, when a pedestrian was fatally injured after being hit by a bike while crossing the road.
The deceased has been identified as Lokesh (48), a resident of Kumpala Chetananagar. He was employed as a security guard at a commercial complex in Tokkottu. On August 15, while on his way to his evening shift, Lokesh was crossing the highway at Kapikad when a speeding bike suddenly hit him, leaving him critically injured. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Deralakatte.
Despite receiving treatment, he succumbed to his injuries. Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating. Lokesh is survived by his wife and daughter.
