Udupi, Feb 7, 2015:   State Revenue Minister V Srinivas Prasad on February 7, Saturday inaugurated the Circuit House  in Udupi. The Circuit House has been constructed at a cost of Rs 2.88 crore. The building measures 1,639 square feet.

Vinay Kumar Sorake, Udupi District in-charge Minister, Pramod Madhwaraj, MLA of Udupi and others were present during the inaugural.

Speaking to media men later, the minister said that not even a single inch of land at Arkavathi has been denotified by the Chief Minister. He also alleged that the opposition was blowing the issue out of proportion only to reap political advantage.

A judicial enquiry has been ordered and a committee led by Justice Kempanna has been formed, he said adding anyone having any record relating to denotification can submit the same to the committee.

Commenting on the Kasturirangan Report, Srinivas said a report would be prepared after eliciting public opinion on the issue.

On the allegations hurled against the state government in connection with the ban on entry of Togadia to Bengaluru, the minister said it was a decision taken by the Police Commissioner of Bengaluru.
