Udupi bus service disrupted following drivers’ quarrel

Udupi, Aug 24, 2012 : An altercation between RTO drivers and private drivers led to traffic blocks and disrupted bus services in Udupi on the morning of August 23, Thursday.
Allegedly, an RTO jeep driver assaulted a bus driver who tried to overtake him from the wrong side in Kinnimulky.
Bus drivers in Udupi immediately went on strike and protested for hours, causing a lot of inconvenience to commuters.
However, bus services resumed later today.
