Udupi, Jun 10, 2021: The state government has  issued an order transferring  Udupi District Coastal Security Police SP R Chethan. He has been posted as SP of Mysuru district.

Chethan had taken charge as Coastal Security Police SP in August 2019. As the government has not yet made a new appointment in his place,  Anti-Naxal Squad SP Nikhil has taken charge as in-charge SP of Coastal Security Police.
