Kasargod, April 13, 2016 :  A 20 year old youth and a 12 year old  boy  met a watery grave in a river at Bedadka Kundaguyi on April 12, Tuesday afternoon, while five others  were rescued by locals.


Two drown in rivulet at Bedadka;


The deceased are Jainul Abid of Kozhikode and Jabir, son of Abdulla.  He was a seventh standard student.


The tragedy struck when the youngsters had stepped into the water  during their visit to the town to participate  in the wedding of Jainul’s sister.  Though locals tried to rescue the two, it was a futile attempt.

Its very risky to cross the river as there many be fluctuations in tides and sometimes unexpected whirlpools .we cannot fight with the nature.
