Mangalore, Oct 27, 2012 : Samskratika Saurabha, a cultural program was organized on Oct 26, Friday at Town Hall by Rangachavadi, a troupe that focuses on promoting Tulu culture and literature.
Umanath Kotian, president of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, inaugurated the event.




Property Infratech India Pvt Ltd MD Rohan Monteiro, AAI Suggestion Committee Member Kripa Alva, Krishna Shetty, Maravoor Jagadish Shetty, Sanjeeva M. Shetty, T. A. Shrinivas, and others were on the dais.
Addressing the gathering, Kripa Alva expressed her appreciation of Tulu language and culture.
Film producer T. A. Shrinivas said that there are several ways to create excellent Tulu movies on low budget if a good crew, cameraman, and director are selected. He urged budding producers and directors to create great Tulu movies for the benefit of Tulu movie fans.
Rohan Monteiro and Umanath Kotian also addressed the gathering on this occasion.
T. A. Shrinivas was felicitated on this occasion in recognition and appreciation of his contributions to Tulu movie.
The Excellent Dance Troupe presented a dance performance and Jagadeep Shivapura presented some delightful numbers.
The artists of Ranga Taranaga of Kaup presented a Tulu drama titled “Ill Bhadhk.”
