Mangaluru, August 13, 2024: Noted Tulu actor and writer Ashok Shetty Amblimogaru passed away on August 12. He was 53.
Ashok who was known for his role as coconut plucker Nathu in the Tulu drama “Oriyardori Asal” fell ill off a sudden at home on Monday morning. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he had breathed his last by then.
Ashok is survived by his wife and two sons. He was part of the Kalasangama team of Vijaya Kumar Kodialbail for several years. He had also authored several plays.
