Target gang member assaults man with knife, goes absconding

Mangaluru, August 13, 2023: In Nettilapadavu, within the jurisdiction of Konaje police station, a noted criminal linked to the infamous "Target" gang recently tried to take a man’s life. This incident occurred late on Saturday night and stemmed from a dispute over a rented house matter.

The individual in question, Nameez Hamza, comes from Kotepura and has since disappeared following the altercation. The police have initiated a search operation to locate him.

It is reported that Hamza had been negotiating with Mansoor’s relatives regarding a rental property. However, Mansoor objected to the arrangement due to being aware of Hamza’s criminal background.

This disagreement escalated into a verbal confrontation between Hamza and Mansoor, culminating in Hamza attacking Mansoor with a knife.

Law enforcement authorities have revealed that Hamza has been implicated in various unlawful activities, including the murder of BJP activist Jubair in Mukkaccheri.
