Talapady Football Club to hold 2nd inter-state football competition

Mangalore, Apr 24, 2012: The Football Club of Talapady will organize the second edition of its 3-day Inter-state Football Competition on the grounds near Talapady Bridge along NH17 on April 27 – 29.
Addressing reporters at a press meet held at Press Club on April 24 Tuesday, B. S. Ismail said that the event will be inaugurated on April and that the organizers expect 24 football teams from Goa, Karnataka, Chennai, and Kerala to participate.
MLA U. T. Khader, Ganesh Rao of Karavali College, Vishal Hegde of Nitte Educational Society, D. M. Aslam of the Football Association of Mangalore, Prakash Devadiga of Agrigold, former ZP member Vinay Naik, Sukumar Bhat, and Abdul Razak Haji M. D. will be present at the inauguration and valedictory ceremonies, he said.
Zakir, T. K. Siddique, Abdul Rahiman, and Shareef were present at the press conference.
