State government’s situation is like a patient in the ICU: Nalin Kumar

Mangalore, Nov 22, 2013: Krishnapura: “I am ready to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections if the party asks me to do so,” said Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP.

Addressing the media on Thursday, November 21, he said, “Party activists and supporters form an integral part of the party. Their role in the success of the party is huge.”

Rs 13cr work in the district:
“Most of the developmental works undertaken by me as an MP have been successful. A developmental chart has been created. The total cost involved in the project designed is Rs 17cr. Rs 16cr have already been sanctioned from the fund for the same. Developmental works in the district at a cost of Rs 13cr are already in place.”

“Due to the biased rule by the central government, funds have not been allotted to the state. No funds have been received for development of roads even from the Central Road Fund and Prime Minister’s Rural Road Development Scheme. Currently, Rs 45cr have been released from Central Road Fund.”

The state government was supposed to release Rs 168cr to co-operative banks towards loan waiver of farmers. However, nothing has been done yet. The current economic situation of the state government is critical. It seems as if it is in the ICU.

Modi is the next prime minister:
“BJP is expected to hold the office after the next Lok Sabha election. BJP will register a clear victory in at least four Vidhana Sabha constituencies. Narendra Modi will be the next PM.”

Ramesh S., president of Mangalore North Vidhana Sabha constituency, Diwakar Samani and Vachan Manai were present among others.
