Apart from these problems in the state, CM is planning for the china tour to attract investors. But there is no need for such tour since state has all the opportunities and resources.

He also said that it is surprise to know that either CM or any of the cabinet ministers have not visited the flood and drought affected areas, where as former CM Yeddyurappa had done his duty during the draught affected in his tenure.

He also recalled Siddaramaiah as opposition leader, who commented on BJP of being double standard and now as the ruling party is following the mistakes done by BJP. He has never shown interest to tackle flood and drought condition in the state.

The ministers like U T Khader and Vinay Kumar Sorake go for tours without any action plan, but just attend the function.

The loss incurred by the Areca growers across Karnataka is estimated at Rs 204.28 crore in Shimoga, Rs 57 crore in Udupi, Rs 324 crore in Chikmagalur, Rs 220.75 crore in Mangalore and Rs 5.78 crore in Karwar. The total loss in the state is Rs 800 crore, while the state government has announced only Rs 25 crore as compensation for areca growers. But as per the guidelines by National Calamity Relief Fund (NCRF) the govt must give the compensation of 73 crore, he added.

CM Siddhu said that government will construct toilets to give sanitation facilities to the poor, but as per the report given by the commission appointed by the union government stated that already 90% of the toilets are built in the state.

He also said that in 2011, there was lack of 4 lakh houses for poor, but now the congress announces to build 3 lakhs houses in a year. If this is a situation, for whom are they building other houses for?, he asked.

Congress government as the ruling party is treating officers of various departments as slaves. Most of the government offices have turned to the congress office branches. The officers are being suspended from the post, if they failed to perform to follow their order, he said. H e also challenged CM to visit his constituency in Ramnagar and see the administration functioning there.

JDS leaders Amarnath Shetty, MB Sadashiv and others were present.
