Shubhod Yadav takes charge as Dakshina Kannada DC

Mangalore, October23: Shubhod Yadav, took charge as the new Deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district today at around 2.00pm, Saturday, October 23.

 

Speaking to media persons after taking charge as the 121st Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, Mr.Yadav said that` he will work on people’s interest and overall development of the district’.

He was addressing media persons who were present at the DC office for briefing. He is happy to be DC of Dakshina Kannada and would work for the aspirations of the people of the district and live up to their expectations.

He hailed his predecessor V Ponnuraj, who has been transferred to Shimoga from Dakshina Kannada district, for taking initiation in computerization and paperless office for the first time in Karnataka. 

Speaking about the new projects for the district he said that he has many plans for the development of the district.  The pending projects initiated by Mr Ponnuraj will be completed very soon, he added.

When Journalists raised questions regarding his plans to deal with the major problems like land and sand mafia in the district, he said that he will look into the problem soon.


It may be recalled that Shobhod Yadav had worked as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat a few years back.
