Puttur, Jan 27, 2023: Puttur Town Police have arrested a man of Rajasthan origin who was wanted in a sexual harassment case and was absconding since  several years.

The arrested person is Bhagawan Singh. He was accused of sexually harassing a young woman in 2013. Though he was then arrested by the police, he was later released on bail and since then he had not appeared for hearing.

The court had issued arrest warrant against him. Recently police on gathering information that he was at Kodapadavu in Vittal, arrested him and produced him before the court. Presently, he has been remanded to judicial custody.
