Sexual harassment : Efforts on to shield accused Madarasa teacher?

Mangalore, Aug 27, 2013 : The issue of  the arrest of a Madarasa teacher at Boliyar on the charges of sexually harassing a six year old student is still raging.

Latest reports stated that systematic efforts were on by some  leaders to protect the accused.
As already reported, Abdul Khader Yamani, a teacher in the Madarasa at Boliyar near Mudipu was arrested on August 25, Sunday after the mother of the child lodged a complaint with the Konaje police.

Right since then there have been attempts to prove that the teacher was innocent.

Soon after his arrest, several people had even staged a demonstration in front of the Konaje police station seeking to release the accused and also trying to prove that he is innocent. It is also learnt that the mother of the victim child is also under pressure to withdraw the complaint.

Meanwhile, there are reports that several other  young women who too have been reportedly harassed by the teacher, are now planning to complain to the police.
