Security beefed up for Sonia Gandhi’s visit to the Temple on Oct.18

Mangalore, Oct 16, 2012: Security will be beefed up and devotees will be prevented from entering the premises of Kudroli Temple after 2:00 p.m. since Sonia Gandhi, UPA president, will be inaugurating the centenary celebrations of the temple as well as the Mangalore Dasara celebrations at 6:00 p.m. on Oct 18.

Making the above announcement at a press conference held today, Harikrishna Bantwal of the temple administrative committee said that only a limited number of people will be invited to the event and passes will be given to them on Wednesday.

Those who are taking part in the inauguration ceremony are expected to be inside the temple premises by 4:00 p.m. Once inside the temple premises, they will not be allowed to leave the premises till the end of the event. Guests are not allowed to carry mobile phones, plastic bags, electronic items, and water bottles inside the venue.

Sairam, president of the temple administrative committee, Treasurer Padmaraj, entrepreneur Ramesh Kumar, and Urmila Ramesh Kumar were also present.
