SSF takes out rallies in M’lore, Udupi to mark end of Pravadi Sandesha Yatra

Mangalore, Feb 10, 2013: Hundreds of youngsters took part in a rally organised in Mangalore from Jyothi Circle to Nehru Maidan on February 9, Saturday as part of the valedictory of the Pravadi Sandesha Yatra. The rally was organised by the Sunni  Students Federation.

Addressing a convention at Nehru Maidan Sunni cleric MSM Abdur-Rasheed Zaini Kamil Saqafi spoke on the relevance and significance of celebrating the birthday of Prophet Mohammad. He also spoke about the auspicious month of Rabi-ul-Awwal in Islamic calendar.

In Udupi: A rally was also taken out in Udupi from Kinnimulki to Chittaranjan Circle as part of the valedictory of the Pravadi Sandesha Yatra. The rally passed through Taluk Office Road, Diana Circle and service bus stand before reaching Chittaranjan Circle.

KM Aboobakker Siddique, national leader of SSF inaugurated the convention. The function was presided over by Abdurrehman Rizwi, State SSF leader.
