P. B. Harish Rai, the president of the DK Working Journalists’ Union (DKWJU), one of the chief guests of the event, said that it is difficult to find people who do the same work for decades, owing to which the Rotaract Club has done a great job by felicitating 3 workers who have done the same job for over 35 years.

Stating that media workers also work 24 hours per day, he said that the government must consider their demands and provide them security.

Y. Ramesh Rao, the owner of Hotel Woodlands, was also one of the chief guests of the event.
