Mangalore, Jan 24, 2012: A Tulu songs album ‘Moke-Onchooru Joake,’ a praiseworthy initiative in Tulu language is set to be released at Town Hall in Mangalore on January 27 at 10 am.
Roopesh T Shetty, Director, who has composed the songs and is also playing the lead role, informed this to reporters here on January 24,Thursday. He said the album is the result of six months of toil and was shot at different locations in Mangalore, Udupi and Kasargod districts. The music direction is by Gururaj Mangalore while Ashok Bekur is the cameraman and Nagarjun Mangalpady has done the editing. The star cast also includes renowned Tulu artistes Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Dinesh Attavar and Arjun Kapikad.
The album has a total of six songs and is sure to appeal to youngsters, said Roopesh. He said the album release function at Town Hall will also feature dance performances by Ocean Kids of India’s Got Talent fame and other renowned dance troupes. There will also be a comedy programme by Aravind Bolar, Dinesh Attavar and team.
Music director Gururaj, Cameraman Ashok Bekur, Nagarjun Mangalpady and Charith Udupi were present.
