Robbers loot woman at Shaktinagar; push her to death

Mangalore, Nov 13, 2013 : A woman  who was seriously injured after robbers pushed her aside while  snatching her gold jewellery, has  breathed her last in the hospital. The  incident took place at the Labour Colony at Shaktinagar on November 12, Tuesday  evening.

The deceased has been identified as  Bhavani (68).  An employee of a cashew factory located nearby, Bhavani was on way home when the incident took place.

Her family members  who were worried when she did not return home,  soon launched a search for her.  The Tulunadu Rakshana Vedike activists who too joined them,  found Bhavani in a critical state  on the roadside near Mahakalipadpu. Though she was rushed to a hospital, she succumbed there.

Mangalore Rural Police are conducting the investigations.
