Mangaluru, Aug 7, 2025: The Mangaluru City Traffic Police have announced that asphalting work will be taken up on the stretch between KIOCL Junction and Panambur Junction on Wednesday, August 7. The project involves laying bitumen to fix potholes and enhance road conditions.
In addition, maintenance work is scheduled from August 7 to 13 on the Surathkal–Nanthoor stretch. The operations will be carried out between 11 am and 3 pm, and during night hours. The work includes pothole filling, patch repairs, and drain cleaning, aimed at improving road quality and easing traffic movement.
To facilitate the repair work, traffic diversions will be in place in the affected areas. Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and follow the traffic signs and directions given by on-duty personnel.
The police have appealed to the public for cooperation and patience during the period, assuring that the temporary inconvenience is necessary for long-term road improvements and a better commuting experience.
