Mangaluru, Aug 05, 2022: The Weather Department has issued a Red Alert for the coastal district on August 5 and 6. Various parts of Dakshina Kannada district including Mangaluru have been receiving continuous rainfall since Thursday morning. However, the intensity of the rain is moderate.
On Thursday, three houses were fully damaged due to rain while seven houses were partially damaged. A total of 34 electricity poles and 2 transformers have also been damaged.
