Mangalore, March 16, 2012 : The doctors taking care of Rahim Uchil, the president of the Beary Academy, who was assaulted by a group of six miscreants in the Beary Academy office on March 15 Thursday, have declared that he is now on the road to recovery.


R UchilMr. Uchil is still in the ICU at Unity Health Centre, but spoke to his wife who visited him.

Meanwhile, the police team investigating the assault have arrested two suspects and interrogated them. An unknown person had made a few calls to the Beary Academy office a few hours before the assault and police feel that these calls are somehow connected to the assault.

CM Sadananda Gowda, who is currently campaigning for the Udupi – Chikmangalur Lok Sabha by poll in Udupi, is expected to visit Mr. Uchil in hospital today.
