Puttur, June 28, 2026: Ramprasad K., a 25-year-old artist from Puttur, has won the national logo design contest for Viksit Bharat–Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin (VB-G RAM G) and will be felicitated by Union Minister for Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the National Vikas Sammelan in New Delhi on June 29.
The Ministry of Rural Development announced the results on the MyGov portal, declaring Ramprasad the winner from among 7,233 entries received from across the country.

According to the ministry, the winning logo was selected for effectively portraying the mission’s vision by symbolising human dignity, collective effort and the journey towards a developed India. It also reflects the programme’s core objectives of employment generation, livelihood security and rural resilience.
Ramprasad will receive a cash prize of ₹50,000 for the winning design.
The ministry said the contest was organised as a citizen-centric Information, Education and Communication (IEC) initiative to create a distinctive visual identity for the mission while encouraging public participation in governance. It added that the overwhelming response, particularly from young participants, highlighted the growing role of digital platforms such as MyGov in promoting citizen engagement and participatory governance.
