Provocative, false social media posts: 12 more cases filed

Mangaluru, Aug 01, 2022: Cases have been registered against as many as 12 persons in Cyber, Economic and Narcotics Crime (SEN) Police Station for making objectionable  and inflammatory posts on social media with regard to the recent murders in the district. With this the total number of cases registered in the SEN Police Station has risen to 17. On Sunday, the police had registered five such cases.

City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar has said  that the police are investigating the cases and would continue ther vigil on inflammatory social media posts.
