Praveen Nettaru case: Plans to attach properties of absconding main accused, says ADGP

Mangaluru, Aug 10, 2022: ADGP(Law and Order) Alok Kumar has said that the Department was thinking of attaching the property of the absconding three main  accused in the Praveen Nettaru murder case. The three are learnt to be directly involved in the  murder and an arrest warrant would be issued against them, he said.

 

The ADGP was speaking to reporters during his visit to Mangaluru to attend a meeting of senior officials on Monday.

The ADGP said  the police have gathered details including the name, address and photos of the absconding three main accused and that the police have also got clues regarding their place of hiding. There is information that they are changing their hiding places frequently to evade arrest. The police will arrest even those who are assisting them to escape, he said adding presently the police as well as the NIA are jointly probing the case."There is suspicion that those already arrested in the case have links with the PFI," he added.

Regarding Fazil murder case of Suratkal, he said two more accused are yet to be arrested and that they would be  soon arrested.
