Mangalore, Aug 31, 2013: Pratapsimha Nayak took charge as the new district president of BJP at special ceremony held at C V Nayak hall on August 31, Saturday.

Outgoing BJP district president Padmanabh Kottary handed over the charge to Pratapsimha Nayak by presenting the party record book and shawl.

Former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda, said that BJP will start a new chapter with the selection of Pratapsimha Nayak as president in Dakshina Kannada.

Although BJP had given tremendous contribution to the state, the voters have given the unexpected result. This defeat was an alarm from the people of state to give an end to the internal conflicts of the party. This is just a temporary defeat of the party.  But now the people of state have fed up with congress government in just 100 days and soon it will face the similar situation faced by the BJP at the present day. 

The Congress even after completing the 100 days in power never continued the policies implemented by the BJP government.

 

He called the BJP activists to become strong and work for the party and bring back the people’s BJP party and support Narendra Modi as the PM candidate and transform our country into a modern country.

Today the Congress Government has brought such a situation in Mangalore that made silent Hindu’s to hold the weapons to protest their cows from the cattle thieves. Manu soldier are being killed and congress not taking any action against them. BJP is the only party which works to protect our nation.

Former BJP cabinet minister S Suresh Kumar said further it will be very difficult for the congress party to campaign for their party in the parliamentary election, since people have come to know about their achievement in 100 days.

He also said that whole world is looking for a able and efficient leader to rule the nation and that will surely represent Narendra Modi, which was lacking from 5-6 years.

BJP Government had brought an ammendment to the 1964 Act for the protection of the cow, but the Congress cancelled the ammendment in the act and supported the cow thefts to rule the district.

The country has given Right to Information, Right to education and Right to food and security to people, but the Congress has restored the right to increase the price hike for the commodities frequently, he said.

Newly elected president Pratapsimha Nayak said that today the value of Rs is reducing, while the price for commodities is increasing and it is just because of Congress Corruption.

Today people are expecting the country to be transformed into a Gujarat Model and it is only possible under the leadership of Narendra Modi, he said.

The new BJP presidents elected in the 8 constituencies are Balakrishna V Shetty from Beltangady, K P Sucharith Shetty from Moodbidri, Ramesh S from Mangalore North, Ravishankar Mijar from Mangalore South, Chandrashekar Ucchil from Mangalore (Ullal), G Ananda from Bantwal,  Apayya Maniyani from Puttur, Harish Kanjipili from Sullia.

MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC Monappa Bhandary, MLA S Angara, Former MLA N Yogish Bhat, Krishna J Palemar, Sulochana G K Bhat and others were present.
