Beltangady, Oct 18, 2012 : Four diploma students from SDM College in Ujire, who were reported missing on Oct 12, were traced in Mangalore on Oct 17, Wednesday.

Udaya B. C. (17), Nuthan H. C. (17), Bopanna (17), and H. C. Nitheshraj (17), all I year diploma students, had gone missing on Oct 12 and a missing person case was registered in the Belthangady Police Station.

Reportedly, the teenagers went to Mangalore, boarded a train to Mumbai, and then returned to Mangalore through Goa.

The police, who were keeping track of their mobile usage, nabbed them as soon as they returned to Mangalore.

Reportedly, the boys ran away because they were poor in studies and had attendance shortage. They are now with their parents.
