Palemar not involved in porn-viewing episode, claim supporters

Mangalore, Feb 13, 2012 : Shankar Bhat, the former mayor, said at a press conference held in Suratkal that the recent porn-viewing episode was a conspiracy to strip Krishna J. Palemar of his credibility. He said that a person above 50 cannot possibly know how to send such clips.

 

 

 

Addressing reporters at a press conference organized by Shri J. Krishna Palemar Abhimani Balaga, an association of fans of Krishna J. Palemar, he said that it is impossible to imagine Mangalore without Palemar.

Further speaking on the issue, he said that the media has propagated the lie that he was involved in the porn-viewing incident in assembly, but actually Palemar was seated at a good distance from the Savadi and Patil, who were watching the clip, and was just being made a scapegoat.

In response to a journalist’s query, he said that Shri J. Krishna Palemar Abhimani Balaga was not involved with any political party and was formed to provide moral support to Palemar.

Razak, the member of the Builders’ Association of India, said that DK requires Palemar’s leadership, adding that Palemar ought to be reinstated as the district-in-charge minister after the investigative report comes in on March 13.

Mahabala Poojary Kadambodi, the convenor of the fan club, Mangalore Mayor Praveen, ex mayors Ganesh Hosabettu and Rajani Dugganna, corporators Madhukiran, Tilakraj, Santhosh, Shakuntala, Pushparaj Shetty, Bhaskar Chandra Shetty, Mohan Padil, and many others were also present.

A public meeting was also held on the ground adjacent to Suratkal market.

Addressing the gathering, Shankar Bhat demanded proof for the involvement of Palemar in the porn-viewing episode and alleged that people jealous are Palemar are responsible for this episode.

Speaking on the occasion, Pramila Kanchan of BJP Mahila Morcha said that the media is responsible for putting Palemar to disgrace. She also stated that Palemar does not know how to operate a mobile phone.

Aziz Baikampady of the BJP minority wing, Bharathiya Mazdoor Sangh leader Vishwanath Shetty, and many others were also present.
