Padubidri : ‘Suicide’ of physical instructor shrouded in mystery

Padubidri, Nov 4, 2013 :  A physical instructor of a government school at Hejamady Kody has been found dead under mysterious circumstances. He was found hanging near a well close by his house on November 3, Sunday morning.

 

The deceased is Gopal M of Mandya who worked as a physical instructor in the school since 18 years. He was residing in a quarters constructed by the School’s old students’ association close by the school, along with his wife, a son and daughter.

 If one leg of the deceased was found on the platform of the well, another leg was touching the ground. The rope used in the well was found around his neck giving room for much suspicion.

Last month, a fire had erupted in the school mysteriously   and Gopal had put in a great deal of efforts to put out the fire.

 Now the suspicious death of the teacher has given room for further doubts. Padubidri police are investigating.
