Mangalore, 25 Apr 2013: Yet another group of JD(S) and BJP workers joined Congress in a function at the Congress Election office in the morning on Thursday, April 25, 2013. Senior Congress leader and AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes welcomed them and asked them to strengthen the party and work for the betterment of Mangalore. He also asked them to join hand with the party workers in their endeavor in bringing success to all Congress candidates in the District. 

 

 

Welcoming the new comers, Veteran leader and former central Minister, Janardhan Poojary said that Congress Party is looking forward to regain the lost glory and serve the people of Karnataka. “Together we can win any hurdles on our journey” “Let us reach out to the people for their mandate and make Congress candidates win in every constituency”  “Forget the past, let us move forward and march together for the good of the people” He urged them to be united and work with single moto to make all the Congress candidates win the election.

Over 150 JD (S) and BJP party workers joined Congress and pledged to work for the Congress candidates in the presence of senior leaders and DCC President. It may be recalled that some of the senior JD(S) leaders had joined Congress, a week ago.
