DK Youth Congress President Mithun Rai told reporters at a press meet held in Mangalore that Youth Congress condemns the attack and the fact that the culprits have still not been booked under the Goonda Act. He said that several like-minded organizations will demand strict action against the culprits, adding that students from colleges in and around Mangalore and college unions will also take part in the protest.

DYFI President Muneer Katipalla said that the protest has nothing to do with politics and aims at safeguarding the interests of young people in DK.

A peaceful protest march will be held from Jyothi Circle to the DC’s office, and the protest meeting will begin in front of the DC’s office at 10:00 a.m.
