Mangalore, Aug 17, 2012 : Addressing a group of final year engineering students after inaugurating a session on facing college campus interviews organized by Campus Interview Training Solutions on Wednesday, Rotary District Governor Dr. B. Devdas Rai said that a recent survey has revealed that only 10% of engineering graduates are employable.
Speaking of the importance of developing competence and self-confidence and enhancing performance quality, he said that students must attend training on how to attend interviews to develop the required skills and prepare themselves to face campus interviews.
Rotary Club Mangalore Central President Sureshchandra Shetty said that the training workshop was organized as part of the Rotary Club’s vocational service project.
As many as 350 students from 17 engineering colleges were present.
