Mangalore, Apr 8, 2012: Prof. M. B. Puranik, the president of Tulunadu Educational Trust, inaugurated Chrysalis Children’s Library, a lending library for children in the age group of 0 to 17 in Mangalore today. 


Gopikrishnan Konnanath, the associate vice president and head of the Mangalore Development Centre in Infosys, inaugurated the website of Chrysalis Children’s Library.

The library has a collection of more than 10,000 books, categorized as per age group, right from picture books for babies to word books for toddlers to chapter books for children up to the age of 17. The library charges lending fees of Rs. 150 per month and lends four books at a time.


Rakhee Raveendran is the founder of the Chrysalis Children’s Library.
