Mangaluru, July 19, 2026: The New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) honoured port users and stakeholders at its Annual Awards Nite 2025–26, recognising their contribution to the port’s highest-ever cargo handling of over 50 million metric tonnes (MMT) during 2025–26.
Sushil Kumar Singh, Chairperson of NMPA, Deendayal Port Authority and the Indian Ports Association, was the chief guest. Congratulating the port community on the milestone achieved during NMPA’s golden jubilee year, he expressed confidence that the port would achieve its target of 53 MMT in 2026–27 through continued collaboration.

Awards were presented to outstanding importers, exporters, terminal operators, shipping agents, stevedores, customs house agents (CHAs), logistics partners and other port users for their significant contribution to the port’s record-breaking performance.
The programme was presided over by S. Shanthi, Deputy Chairperson of NMPA, while Padmanabhachar K., Chief Vigilance Officer, NMPA, attended as the guest of honour.
