NCC cadets trained in war techniques at annual camp

Mangalore, July 8, 2012: The NCC city unit of 18 Karnataka Battalion on July 7, Saturday trained young NCC cadets on how to fight enemies at the border as part of its 10-day annual camp, which began on July 2. 


NCC cadets are mandatorily required to attend this training camp to gain qualification to answer their final exams.

The cadets were also trained on map reading, shooting, and use of weapons. The camp also comprised blood donation camps and cultural programs.
A total of 500 NCC cadets from 23 high schools, PU colleges, and degree colleges took part in this program. 


The cadets were taught how to deal with war situations, how to respond to field signals given by the chief commander, and a number of war techniques. 


Commander Achutan Kutti, Commander Lieutenant Alok Parmer, associate NCC officers, junior commissioned officers, and two colonels conducted this training camp.


Cadets were given A, B, and C certificates at the end of the training.
