Muhurat of Tulu film Thelikeda Bolli held

Mangalore, Mar 28, 2012: The muhurat of Thelikedha Bolli, the Tulu movie, was held at Vamanjoor on Wednesday, March 28.

Addressing the gathering at the press conference, Devdas Kapikad, the actor, script writer, and dialogue writer, said that he had obtained the story for the film from his second Tulu play “Gante Yeth And,” which is yet to be put in the form of a VCD. He also said that artificial settings are not required as the location near Vamanjoor is perfect for the shooting. 

 

 

 

 

The film is 2.15 hours long and the shooting will be done in just 35 days. The film will also be shot in locations such as Siddakatte, will have 4 songs sung by Guru Kiran, Devadas Kapikad, and two more Kannada singers, and is based on a triangle love story, he said. 

Speaking on the occasion, P. H. Vishwanath, the director, said that he has directed 15 Kannada movies and that Thelikeda Bolli is his first Tulu film. He expressed hopes that the film will be well accepted because the cast comprises experienced actors. 

Arjun Kapikad, the actor; Ashritha Shetty and Vaishali Shetty, the actresses, and others also spoke about the film. 

Navin D. Padil, Aravind Bolar, and Bojaraj Vamanjoor were also present.
