Mudipu: Elderly pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by out-of-control autorickshaw

Mangaluru, Jun 26, 2026: An elderly pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being hit by an autorickshaw that reportedly went out of control near Mudipu on the outskirts of Mangaluru.
According to reports, the elderly man was walking along the side of the main road when the autorickshaw lost control and rammed into him. The impact left the pedestrian critically injured.
The autorickshaw driver also sustained injuries in the accident. Further details regarding the cause of the mishap and the condition of the injured are awaited.
