Moily certain about Congress victory in by polls

Mangalore, Mar 4, 2012: Interacting with reporters on the sidelines of the convention of self-help groups organized by the CODP at Milagres, Dr. Veerappa Moily, the union corporate affairs minister, expressed his confidence that his party will emerge victorious in the upcoming Udupi – Chikmagalur Lok Sabha by polls. 

Expressed equal confidence in the BJP’s failure in the same by polls, he said that the people now know what the BJP truly is because of the rave party held on St. Mary’s Island and the porn-viewing scandal. The BJP might have made its guilty ministers resign, but the public are already disappointed in the BJP and will not give them a second chance, opined Moily. Moreover, some BJP ministers are in jail, some out on bail, and some openly corrupt, he added. 

Moily has also expressed confidence that the Congress will emerge victorious in the UP pollsalthough the exit polls conducted by TV channels reveal that the Congress might not win. Moily declared that the Congress has made a number of improvements in the UP while admitting that it is too early to make predictions. 

Voicing his opinions on the assault on journalists by media persons in the premises of the Bangalore Civil Court, the minister said that this incident proves that the state government is a total failure.
