Mangalore, Nov 18, 2013: Former union minister Janardhana Poojary criticized BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi of playing cheap politics by interfering into the personal life of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.


Speaking at the press meet held at District Congress Office on Nov 18, Monday, he said that it is necessary for the citizen of the country to know the marital status of the nation’s prime ministerial candidature.

He also said that people want know whether he is married or not, if he is married he must also reveal his wife’s name and tell where she is.


He also said that Modi has not perused his education in Arthashastra (economics), but strengthening his region on series of lies. He also delivers speeches IT revolution in the nation and declares it to be an achievement by Vajpayee during NDA government.


Poojary also said that Modi has done nothing for the poor and backward class people of Gujarat, but has only favoured industrialists. The People in Gujarat elected him out of fear and the actual development work will be revealed through the Social Economic Review of Gujarat.


State’s loan in Gujarat has increased to one lakh thirty eight thousand crores from forty five thousand crores and none of them question about this.


Speaking on Modi’s election campaign, Poojary said that Modi has appointed a foreign company for 25,000 dollars to create publicity in the country and dream of winning it, but it is not a game like kabbadi or cricket to win so easily, without knowing the foreign policy.


Congress leaders Harikrishna Bantwal, Suresh Ballal, Vijay Kumar Shetty, Sadashiva Ullal, Nagendra, Arun Cohelo, Nazir Bajal, Mithun Rai and T K Sudheer were present.
