Modi banner torched by miscreants at Gurupur

Mangalore, Sep 20, 2013 : A banner depicting Gujarat CM and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has been torched by some miscreants near the Gurupur bus stand on September 19, Thursday night.
The banner was put up in the area by Namo Brigade that has been formed to support Modi as the PM candidate of BJP. The banner had photographs of Swami Vivekananda and Narendra Modi and read “Ondu Bharatha Shreshta Bharatha” and “Modi Lao Desh Bachao”.
Here it is worth mentioning that police had arrested two persons in a similar incident reported from Mudipu two days ago. One of the arrested person is Nawaz.
In yet another incident, a man wearing a Modi T-shirt was attacked in Gurupur area. The Namo Brigade activists have lodged a complaint with the Bajpe police.
