Missing high school girls found in Shivbagh

Mangalore, Oct 13, 2012 : The four students of Capitanio High School, who had gone missing from the evening of Oct 12, Friday, were found near Shivbagh.

 

 

Lavanya, Nishmitha, Prathiksha, and Dhanya, Std. VIII students of Capitanio High School, had not returned home after school on Friday. The police launched a search operation for them, but they could not be found till the early morning of Oct 13, Saturday.

Early on the morning of Oct 13, the police found out that the girls were staying at a house in Shivbagh.

Reportedly, a lady who lives alone near ESI Hospital, felt sorry for them and agreed to let them spend the night in her house on condition that they return home early in the morning.

The police took the girls to the police station and then to their respective homes.

The girls told the police that they had got very less marks in school and were afraid of parental wrath, owing to which they had decided to run away.
