Mangalore, Aug 31, 2012 : Suresh Nayak, a mentally challenged man from Puttur, has created a world record by setting four different records in one year.
Addressing reporters at a press conference held at Press Club on August 31, Friday, Umesh Nayak, brother of Suresh Nayak, said that Suresh, who has an IQ level of only 22, has gained entry into the Asia Book of Records for having the longest tongue in the world. He has also been entered into the India Book of Records for the same—having a 10cm-long tongue.
Suresh even gained entry into the Limca Book of Records because of his spectacular performance at a memory exhibition held at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. He recited the names of 518 people, whose numbers he had stored in his small nameless telephone directory in 1hr 12 minutes.
He created yet another Limca record for having four divisions in his fingers instead of the usual three.
Suresh plays musical instruments for Puttur’s Shri Venkataramana Temple Bhajana Mandali. He works as the telephone operator at Shriram Shares, a business he owns in Puttur, said his brother.
Suresh Nayak was also present.
