Matinee Idol Shivarajkumar Jams Traffic, Wows All

Mangalore, October 2, 2011: Kannada matinee idol Shivarajkumar’s visit to the city today proved to be a headache for the city’s traffic cops as his fans thronged to get a glimpse of him.

The actor came down to the city to inaugurate the new jewellery showroom of Kalyan Jewellers on MG Road. This is the 29th showroom of Kalyan Jewellers, which is a large jewellery chain. Shivarajkumar is the brand ambassador for the jewellery group.

As the inauguration venue also sported a large camera crane, many thought there was a movie shooting going on. Police had a tough time controlling the crowds. Soon after the actor arrived, he inaugurated the showroom and went inside to a have look. He was accompanied by the company’s Chairman and Managing Director Kalyanraman, Executive Directors Rajesh and Ramesh Kalyanraman. Mayor Praveen Kumar too was present on the occasion.
