Mangaluru, Apr 01, 2023: Several transgenders from various parts of the city joined the JD(S) in the presence of party leader Dr Sumathi S Hegde at the auditorium of Suma Sadan Mallikatta on April 1, Saturday.

The transgenders joined  the JD(S) under the leadership of Nisha, They said they would work for the party as  the party candidate Sumathi Hegde has responded positively towards their demand to sanction sites for transgenders.

JD(S) leaders Bharathi Pushparajan, Altaf Thumbay, Manoj Kumar and others were present.
