Mangaluru: Man arrested for selling ganja from auto-rickshaw

Mangaluru, Aug 9, 2025: Police have arrested a 35-year-old man, identified as Badruddin from Vamanjoor, for allegedly selling ganja from an auto-rickshaw near Mangala Jyothi Junction in the Mangaluru Rural Police Station limits on Thursday.
From the accused, police seized 2 kg of ganja, Rs 20,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and the auto-rickshaw used in the crime.
The operation was carried out by Mangaluru Rural Police Inspector Gaviraju R.P., SI Arun Kumar D., head constables Kamalaksha, Shashidhar, Shankrappa, and constables Sikandar, Birendra, and Pradeep.
