Guest of Honour Ganaraj Kamath, Global Portfolio Planning Leader at Hewlett Packard (HP), Bengaluru, spoke about the global opportunities available to management graduates and described an MBA as a launchpad for future global leaders. He emphasised the growth potential of the Indian market and the importance of discipline, strong conceptual foundations, awareness of industry trends and developing into versatile professionals.

Dr N. S. Shetty, Professor Emeritus at JKSHIM, highlighted the broad scope of knowledge and opportunities offered by an MBA. Director Prof (Dr) Sudhir M. welcomed the new students to the JKSHIM family and outlined the two-year academic journey ahead. He introduced the institute’s faculty and highlighted its rigorous, industry-oriented training aimed at preparing graduates for leadership roles in the corporate sector.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by faculty member Dr Melanie Pius Dsouza, followed by the National Anthem.

JKSHIM continues to focus on industry-oriented management education through contemporary curricula, experienced faculty mentorship and strong placement opportunities with leading multinational companies.
