Mangaluru, Sep 27, 2025: An FIR (No. 0051/2025) has been registered at Subrahmanya Police Station in Kadaba taluk against the vice president of Kollamogru Gram Panchayat on charges of theft, following a complaint lodged by the Panchayat Development Officer (PDO).
The action is being hailed as a major victory for villagers in their fight against corruption.
United as one, the residents of Kollamogru had strongly voiced their opposition to corrupt practices, which ultimately led to this legal step. The villagers are celebrating the development, calling it a testament to their collective strength.
“This is a significant step forward in the struggle for justice and fairness in our village,” said local activists, expressing their satisfaction.
