Mangalorean Krithi Shetty flies high as commander on Airbus 320

Mangalore, May 11, 2013: Mangalorean girls are making waves in diverse spheres. The latest addition is Captain Krithi I R Shetty who is now a commander on Airbus 320. She in fact is the first woman from the Bunt community to achieve this feat.
She has been presented with ‘Four Stripe Applets’ by Capt. SK Bhalla, Examiner, Indigo Airlines. Krithi was a Commercial Pilot Licence Holder when she was just 19 after completing training in single engine and multi-engine aircrafts in India, US and Australia.
Daughter of Inna Gabbaraguttu IR Shetty, a Chartered Accountant and Kodialguttu Kavitha Shetty, Krithi is working for Indigo Airlines.
