Mangalore, Dec 6, 2012 :  The wait is over. The latest Tulu film “Telikeda Bolli” has hit theatres across DK and Udupi districts. In Mangalore, the film was formally released at a function held at Central Talkies in Mangalore on December 6, Thursday. The film director PH Vishwanath and other dignitaries present on the occasion, lighted the traditional lamp, to inaugurate the function.

Devadas Kapikad, the man behind ‘Telikeda Bolli’,  producers Sharmila Kapikad and Sudhir Kamath, actors Aravind Bolar, Naveen D Padil, Gopinath Bhat, Mohan Rai, noted yakshagana artiste and President of Billawa Balaga, Dubai    Sudhaker Thumbay, and others were present.


Devadas Kapikad’s son Arjun plays the lead role, while Ashritha Shetty is the heroine of the film. The film with  a love triangle story is sure to tickle the audience with its delightful comedy while also having a meaningful message against alcoholism.


Speaking on the occasion, Devadas Kapikad said all the actors have done justice to their roles and have performed superbly. He also appreciated the hard works put in by the rest of the crew of the team.


  The star cast of the film has the renowned comedian Naveen Padil, Devadas Kapikad, Aravind Bolar, Saikrishna, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Rama BC road, Suresh Kulal, Satish Bandale, Karunaker Saripalla, Harish Vasu Shetty, Lakshman Kumar Mallar, Mohan Rai Kannur, Sandeep Shetty, Thimmappa Kulal, Agnel Rodrigues, Panduranga Adyar, Dayanand Amin, Sarojini Shetty, Vinni Fernandes, Dayanand Amin and Richard Pinto among others.The story, screenplay is by Devadas Kapikad while Gurukiran is the music director.


The inaugural show of the film was viewed by a packed audience who had a belly full of laughter.


Apart from Central Talkies, the movie is screened at Jyothi theatre and Big Cinemas in Mangalore. In Udupi, it is screened at Kalpana. As for the rest, the film is screened at Bharath theatre of Belthangady, Amarashree in Moodbidri and Radhika Theatre in Karkala.
