According to locals, a girl had  climbed the compound wall and ran away but before locals could  enquire her, the centre owner had rushed and had taken away the girl. It is alleged that the  owner used to ill-treat the girl.

Local residents  said that a girl had also escaped from this centre a year   ago following which the police had visited the spot and warned the management of the centre.

The police, it is learnt,  had  failed to register a complaint then demanding evidence to prove the allegations.

The Centre had 22 inmates including men and women.
